Congratulations to the AFI Alumni Projects Nominated for the 2019 Peabody Awards
The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors recently announced the 2019 nominees that represent the most compelling and empowering stories released across broadcast and digital media. AFI alumni projects nominated for the prestigious award include:

And the connection to AFI doesn’t stop there. Six of this year’s AFI AWARDS honorees (CHERNOBYL, FLEABAG, SUCCESSION, UNBELIEVABLE, WATCHMEN and WHEN THEY SEE US) were also honored with Peabody Awards, along with six documentaries programmed at AFI DOCS 2019 and Meet the Press Film Festival in Collaboration with AFI (AMERICAN FACTORY, FOR SAMA, ONE CHILD NATION, SEA OF SHADOWS, TRUE JUSTICE: BRYAN STEVENSON’S FIGHT FOR EQUALITY and LEARNING TO SKATEBOARD IN A WARZONE (IF YOU’RE A GIRL)).
