A Message From AFI Regarding the Los Angeles Fires

Our AFI and greater Los Angeles communities have faced a devastating loss as wildfires continue to sweep through the area. These tragic events have profoundly impacted many, and our thoughts are with all those affected during this challenging time.

The AFI Campus remains safe and open to Fellows, Faculty and Staff in need. With an AFI ID or government-issued ID, AFI community members can access campus resources, including electricity, Wi-Fi, a reliable cell signal, and additional support from our Human Resources and Fellow Affairs Offices. As always, AFI is a smoke-free campus. Out of an abundance of caution, AFI Conservatory classes scheduled for January 13-17 will be held remotely. We are closely monitoring the wildfires across LA County, and the safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

To provide support during this difficult time, AFI has compiled a list of Southern California resources which includes details on emergency assistance and helpful apps to stay updated.
