Watch: Martin Scorsese Tribute at AFI FEST 2019

On November 15, AFI FEST presented by Audi honored AFI Life Achievement Award recipient and Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese with a Tribute at the TCL Chinese Theatre. The packed audience greeted the legendary filmmaker with a standing ovation. In the Q&A with AFI President & CEO Bob Gazzale, Scorsese spoke about the early years of gangster films, the evolution of the genre, the importance of trust in his creative partnerships and how THE IRISHMAN project evolved. Following the conversation, AFI FEST presented Scorsese’s most recent film, Netflix’s THE IRISHMAN, on the IMAX screen.
