Gregory Peck’s iconic character, Atticus Finch, was named the greatest screen hero of all time by the American Film Institute – and Peck himself was ranked #12 on AFI’s list of the greatest screen legends of all time. The recipient of an AFI Life Achievement Award in 1989, Peck was also the American Film Institute’s founding Chairman.
