Attica!” – Sidney Lumet’s DOG DAY AFTERNOON (1975) stars AFI Life Achievement Award honoree Al Pacino and was edited by AFI Honorary Degree recipient Dede Allen. The iconic film was written by the legendary Frank Pierson, who served as an AFI Trustee from 2006-2012 and as the artistic director for the AFI Conservatory, then known as the Center for Advanced Film Studies.
