Starring Natassja Kinski and Malcom McDowell in a psychosexual tale of intimacy and horror, CAT PEOPLE (1982) is a lush re-imagining of director Jacques Tourneur’s 1942 classic brought to the screen by AFI Alum – and Franklin J. Schaffner Alumni Medal recipient – Paul Schrader (AFI Class of 1969). Schrader was also a recipient of the AFI Honorary Degree, as was producer Charles Fries.
