Adapted from Alan Jay Lerner’s successful stage play, Vincente Minnelli’s BRIGADOON (1954) follows two American tourists lost in the Scotland mists – and found in the mystical world of Brigadoon, insulated from the burdens of the outside, contemporary world. AFI Life Achievement Award honoree Gene Kelly stars alongside Van Johnson, with the luminous Cyd Charisse embodying the enchanting innocence of the village lost in time.
