On April 10, AFI gathered members of the Premiere Circle and other major supporters at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles for an intimate dinner and conversation with former 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures head Sherry Lansing.
The event, which provided insight into her legendary career, was moderated by Stephen Galloway (AFI Class of 1982), editor at The Hollywood Reporter and author of “Leading Lady: Sherry Lansing and the Making of a Hollywood Groundbreaker.” In the wide-ranging conversation, Lansing touched on her early years as a rising studio executive, and how she personally left her mark on many of the films she produced — with credits including FATAL ATTRACTION, which earned her a Best Picture Oscar® nomination.
