Directed by AFI Alum Unjoo Moon (AFI Class of 1998), I AM WOMAN depicts the life of singer and feminist icon Helen Reddy. Reddy wrote and sang the song “I Am Woman,” which became the anthem for the women’s liberation movement in the 1970s. The film had its U.S. premiere at AFI FEST in 2019.
