I would get the very first one honoring John Ford if it was available. I watched it in real time in my dorm room at Illinois Tech in 1973.

Will the show be available on other platforms in the future for those who don’t get TCM?

I have every AFI Award show on tape. I have watched them all multiple times. It doesn’t get any better than AFI’s presentation of these shows. Watching the love outpouring to James Stewart, Henry Fonda and James Cagney is palpable. Or how about the last time Walter Pidgeon and Greer Garson appeared together. I will be watching for sure.

If so, will it be available to view during the first ET airing?

If it is not available on Max, what streaming options will be available?

Have watched every AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Show from John Ford the first recipient to the present. In my opinion there is no finer award show honoring our great actors and actresses. Wonderful memories and poignant moments to be sure every year.

Lois Lebrasseur

What was music behind the montage where all past honorees thanked the audience for their award. It is from some movie I can’t place

Trudy Ring

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, especially the segments with the classic-era stars and directors–Stanwyck, Davis, Peck, Hitchcock, Ford, Capra. What is the music that played at the end? It was familiar, but I can’t place it.
