AFI and Audi Partner to Support Female Filmmakers

Watch this new video — featuring alumnae of the AFI Conservatory and the AFI Directing Workshop for Women — to learn how Audi and AFI have collaborated to celebrate diversity and drive progress. The clip talks about women in film and spotlights the Audi Fellowship for Women, which Audi created in 2017 to support one female director for her entire two-year AFI Conservatory enrollment. The next Audi Fellow will be announced in 2019.

AFI and Audi’s shared commitment to boldly challenge the status quo drives this year’s AFI FEST presented by Audi lineup — which features 65 films directed by women, including Opening Night film ON THE BASIS OF SEX, directed by AFI Conservatory alumna Mimi Leder, who talks in the below clip about bringing women’s voices to the fore. The clip also features Natalie Camou, the inaugural recipient of the Audi Fellowship for Women, who is currently a full-time Directing Fellow at the AFI Conservatory.

2018 marks the 15th consecutive year that Audi is presenting sponsor of AFI FEST.

Nice that you use a traitor in your add. Guess you aren’t interested in Vietnam vets buying your cars.

More female directors would be pretty acceptable to me. I have seen many shows, and the ladies can do simply as much of a credible job as the guys. It is not that it wants a feminine touch, just more people with extensive minds and good talents.essay writing websites
Many of the recent movies have been lackluster, so open it up to further directors
