Included on AFI’s original and 10th anniversary lists of the greatest American films of all time, EASY RIDER (1969) also featured an iconic usage of Steppenwolf’s rock anthem “Born to Be Wild,” recognized by AFI as one of the greatest songs ever featured in a film.
