From the Archives: Jessica Lange Talks Openly About Acting

Since her film debut in the 1976 remake of KING KONG, two-time Academy Award®-winning actress Jessica Lange has dominated the craft of acting across television, stage and films. These days, she can be seen in the FX series AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW and also in theaters everywhere in the upcoming remake of THE GAMBLER, which had it’s world premiere at AFI FEST presented by Audi last month.

We dug up an August 1990 American Film™ magazine article in which Lange spoke candidly about her career and experiences in Hollywood. In the piece, she reveals the confidence she has in her own talent, her relationship with filmmakers and what her hopes for the future were 24 years ago (Lange says, “I really want to do different things in the next 10 years”).
