THE TEN COMMANDMENTS appears at #79 on AFI’s list of the most inspiring movies of all time, while the character of Moses (Charlton Heston) is ranked #43 on AFI’s list of the greatest heroes in movie history. Heston also served from 1973-1983 as the chairman of the American Film Institute.
