A powerful tale of the Union Army’s first African American regiment in the Civil War, GLORY (1989) was directed by AFI Conservatory Alum Edward Zwick (AFI Class of 1975), edited by Steven Rosenblum (AFI Class of 1976) and stars two AFI Life Achievement Award recipients – Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.
