AFI's Night at the Movies Frequently Asked Questions

When and where is the event taking place?
Target presents AFI Night at the Movies will be on Wednesday, October 1 at the ArcLight Hollywood, 6360 W. Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028.

What is the ticket price and how can I purchase tickets?
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, September 17. The ticket price is $25 per person, which includes popcorn and a soda. You can purchase up to ten tickets in a single transaction. You can purchase additional tickets for more than one screening, but each screening will be a separate transaction. Theater seats can be selected during the ticket purchase transaction.

Tickets can be purchased through AFI.com or in person at the ArcLight Hollywood box office, 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.

NOTE: You must bring a printout of your ticket to enter the ArcLight. The box office will be closed and courtyard kiosks will be inaccessible.

Where should I park?
Parking is available at ArcLight Hollywood for $10. There will be no validation on October 1. Plan to arrive early as space is very limited. Additional parking lots are available in the surrounding area. View parking map and locations here.

What time does the event start?
All film programs will begin at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. We encourage you to arrive early.

What is the dress code/attire for the evening?
Festive attire, no shorts or T-shirts.

Will the ArcLight Cafe Bar be open?
ArcLight's cafe bar will be open to ticketed guests at 5:30 p.m., but capacity is limited. It will close at 6:45 p.m. and all guests will be required to proceed to their auditoriums. It will reopen following the screenings.

What is the policy for rush tickets?
The rush line will form on Ivar Ave. at 6:00 pm, approximately one hour prior to scheduled program start time.

Tickets are $20 to rush line guests, and admission will begin approximately five minutes before program starts on a space-available basis. CASH ONLY; admission is not guaranteed.

Selected screenings will be available for rush tickets; availability will depend on unclaimed tickets.
