El Caballero Country Club - October 13, 2008

On Monday, October 13, the American Film Institute joined forces with AMC's Emmy Award-winning drama, MAD MEN to present the AFI - MAD MEN Golf Classic in support of AFI.

MAD MEN Creator and Executive Producer, Matthew Weiner, along with cast members Jon Hamm, Michael Gladis, Joel Murray, Rich Sommer, Aaron Staton and AMC President, Charlie Collier led the field of golfers for a challenging round at El Caballero Country Club.

Other celebrities who participated included Eric Close, Brendan Fehr, Peter Gallagher, Dennis Haysbert, Kevin McKidd, Andy Richter, and Ray Romano.

Under the leadership of event co-chairs Mark Canton, Richard Frank and Robert Rehme, the event is supported by a host of team sponsors as well as returning co-sponsors American Airlines, Anheuser-Busch, Calvin Klein and Izod.

As exclusive automotive sponsor, Cadillac also provided golfers the opportunity to win one of three Cadillac vehicles in hole-in-one contests.
