A heartbreaking family drama from acclaimed filmmaker María Novaro (LOLA, DANZON). Lala (Ofelia Medina) is an ethnobotanist studying herbal remedies from pre-Columbian Mexico that she believes can heal not just the body, but the soul. Her daughter Dhalia (Úrsula Pruneda) is a new-age hippie, working at an alternative radio station and caring for her young son. But Dhalia must put her life on hold and take over her mother's research when Lala is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
