Not your everyday film, TWO DRIFTERS languishes among the surreal and absurd as two emotionally alienated people deal with the tragedies that befall them. After being spurned by her lover, Odete develops a hysterical pregnancy and an obsession with Pedro, a recently deceased gay man. Meanwhile, Pedro's grieving boyfriend, Rui, seeks to sublimate his hurt with alcohol and anonymous sex while becoming increasingly disturbed by, but drawn to, Odete's behavior.
