THE PORCELAIN DOLL
[A Porcelánbaba]

A deft blend of absurdism, allegory and drama based on three fairytales adapted from Ervin Lazar's Star Farm. In each, supernatural forces overtake a picturesque Hungarian village when political forces come to town. In the first episode, a young man is resurrected after being shot by a group of soldiers; in the second, a politician claims he can raise the dead; and in the third, an elderly couple flees the military, but seemingly vanishes into the fields.
