FALKENBERG FAREWELL
[Farväl Falkenberg]

First-time writer/director Jesper Ganslandt's emotionally resonant coming-of-age story about a group of aimless but amiable young men in the sleepy seaside town of Falkenberg on Sweden's west coast. Whiling away their summer, they hover in the half-light between adolescence and adulthood. When Holger considers moving to Gotenborg, it causes ripples in the group, especially for the sensitive, diary-keeping David.

DIR/SCR Jesper Ganslandt; SCR Fredrik Wenzel; PROD Anna Anthony. Sweden/Denmark, 2006, color, 91 min. In Swedish with English subtitles. NR
