2005 European Union Film Showcase:
The best of European Cinema, without the jetlag

AFI presents the 18th annual European Union Film Showcase, featuring a first-class selection of films from member states that includes US premieres, film festival award winners and box-office hits. With the EU having expanded its membership last year to 25 countries, this year's lineup is the biggest and best yet - with some of Europe's leading filmmakers - and all 25 countries - represented.

AFI thanks the cultural counselors of the EU member states and the European Commission Delegation in Washington, DC, for their invaluable assistance.
