AFI Silver Video Production Facility

The video facility at the AFI Silver is a standard definition SDI/AES production system with capability for HD playback (not designed for HD production). All components are both 4:3 and 16:9 compatible. Each theatre is designed to operate as a broadcast TV studios with I/O panels located throughout the facility. There are analog mix boards (24 channel) within each theater for live program mix and sound reinforcement with splits to the studio control room for separate mix (if desired). The facility is fully integrated with video and audio connections to local satellite teleport, ISDN, T1, including IFB, mix-minus capability, and telephone hybrid interface. All infrastructure components are broadcast quality from Sony, Thomson (Grass Valley), Chyron, Panasonic, and Leitch.
