After the tragic death of her parents, crime novelist Erika Falcks moves back to her childhood home in the sleepy seaside village of Fjällbacka. When a stranger shows up at her doorstep, claiming to be her long-lost brother, Erika starts to question everything she knew about her mother—especially after finding her wartime diary in the attic, alongside a Nazi medal. Needing to know the whole story, Erika begins calling on her mother's old friends to find out what they know, and she's soon caught up in a dangerous web of neo-Nazis, murder, and long hidden secrets. Based on the suspenseful novel by Scandi Crime sensation Camilla Läckberg.
