MORE THAN MOVIES

AFI FEST is about more than just theaters - it's a party. At the Rooftop Village, pass-holders can have a drink at the Cinema Lounge, join a rollicking party in The Loft or listen to the best emerging bands in the Music Cafe - all set against the magnificent L.A. skyline. And everybody is invited to our panel discussions - Talk/Show, and the Audi Pavilion Salons - and to the kick-off of the Video Art Program. Kids can get in on the action, too, with the Samsung Fresh Films Youth Fest, featuring the cast of Napoleon Dynamite. There's more: Superheroes in costume, the Halloween screening of PSYCHO, chances to meet your favorite filmmakers. So before and after your screenings come on up to the Rooftop Village on the 7th floor of the ArcLight parking garage and join the experience.

Robert Todd's BLISS also dives into nature, and Gorav Kalyan's AFTER THE FUNERAL gives the impressions of a widower imagining a last moment with his lost love. Daniel Zimmermann's DOWNHILL SKIING IN SUMMER will appeal to anybody who can't wait for the slopes to open.
