Panavision Supports Fest

AFI FEST 2007 presented by Audi welcomes back its camera sponsor for all the versatility AFI has to offer. Panavision Plus 8 Digital is donating high-definition decks for the screening theatres, as well as Panasonic cameras for red-carpet arrivals and behind-the-scenes interviews.

With long-time support of the AFI Conservatory and now the film festival, "Panavision has been a staunch supporter of the AFI film school since the 1970s," said Phil Radin, Executive Vice President, Marketing. "AFI is considered one of the finest films schools and Panavision has always provided camera packages to help students with their film projects. With the addition of Panavision Plus 8, we can not only supply film camera packages, but high-definition packages as well."

Panavision is about supporting up and coming filmmakers. Director of Public Relations, Suzanne Lezotte, adds, "AFI Fest has traditionally secured some of the finest filmmakers, and it is in our interest to be a part of that. We welcome the opportunity to be involved."
