Friedkin at BUG Screening

Friedkin at BUG: Filmmaker William Friedkin (THE EXORCIST, THE FRENCH CONNECTION, TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA) will attend both screenings of his new film, BUG, at AFI FEST 2006 presented by Audi.

Friedkin will attend introductions and Q&As on November 11, 10:00 PM, and November 12, 4:00 PM, at ArcLight Hollywood. Tickets are available at the Box Office at the AFI FEST Rooftop Village, 7th floor of the ArcLight parking structure.

BUG stars Ashley Judd stars as a woman whose life unravels when she gets involved with a new man. Michael Shannon stars as a paranoid war veteran who sees insects everywhere.

Half-Price Marathon: A pass for the 24 Hour Movie Marathon and Fundraiser is now $30. The marathon is a 35-year feature film retrospective, featuring hits and sleepers from FILMEX and AFI FEST presented by Audi, as well as surprise snippets and special guests.

Marathon-goers also have a chance to raise money for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The marathon starts November 11 at noon at the Mark Goodson Screening Room on AFI's Los Angeles campus, 2021 N. Western Ave., Los Angeles. Passes are available at the Box Office at the AFI FEST Rooftop Village, 7th floor of the ArcLight parking structure.
