Transportation Producer James Casares helps coordinate transportation for guests, staff and patrons of AFI FEST 2006 presented by Audi.

Where are you from?

James Casares: Born in Yuma, AZ. So I'm not a native of LA, but I am Native American.

Years with AFI FEST?

James: First year! Hopefully many more.

What brought you to working with AFI FEST?

James: I was recommend by John ÒTheÓ Wildman, our Filmmaker Press Liaison. I love what I'm doing with AFI FEST. I like challenges.

What do you do the rest of the year?

James: I normally work for the TV industry on variety series and specials Ð MTV, VH1, The Grammys and a couple of Olympics Ð all having to do with talent transportation.

What is you favorite program at AFI FEST 2006?

James: Opening Night at GraumanÕs Chinese Theatre. Lots of cars and lots of energy!

If you could drive your dream car what would it be?

James: Of course an Audi A8.

What car do you currently drive?

Casares: Old school 1989 190 Mercedes Benz. Still kicking.
