Since the formation of the strategic partnership in 2004, the American Film Market (AFM) and AFI FEST presented by Audi have grown to become the largest gathering of film professionals - and the only concurrent festival/market - in North America.

AFM is November 1-8, 2006, in Santa Monica. Here are scenes from the final few days.

Take One: During the AFI FEST Filmmakers Brunch, November 4, Executive Vice President of the Independent Film & Television Alliance and Managing Director of AFM Jonathan Wolf speaks.

"AFM is a trade show, just like any industry," Wolf told AFI FEST Daily News. "We move all the beds out of the hotel and completely turn the hotel into an office building. No one sleeps in this hotel for two weeks.

"We have everyone who is involved in the business of film," Wolf explained, "from bankers, lawyers, producers, writers, post production facilities and film commissioners."

Take Two: Actor Michael Sorvino (GODS AND GENERAL) and his father, actor Paul Sorvino (GOODFELLAS), arrive at AFM to drum up support for their new film, THE TROUBLE WITH CALI.
