Classic and contemporary cinema from around the world is presented at least weekly--and always featuring the best possible picture and sound. Take a look at the AFI at ArcLight programs you shouldn't miss...
AFI's Directors Screenings presented by Audi
This popular series offers advance screenings of the best upcoming films prior to their theatrical release. To complete the experience, the film's director--and often cast members, too--participate in an audience Q&A. These events are often followed by a reception at a local Hollywood hotspot--all for the price of a movie! Recent films screened include THE GREAT RAID, HAPPY ENDINGS, PROOF, THE SQUID AND THE WHALE and WHERE THE TRUTH LIES.
AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies Screening Series presented by Audi
This ongoing series presents selections from AFI's popular series celebrating the first 100 years of American cinema. With screenings held once a week, audiences are treated to a rare opportunity to view the cinema's best classics on the big screen.
Beginning in January 2006, weekly screenings will feature selections from AFI's 100 Years . . . 100 Movie Quotes.
AFI's Music Documentary Series presented by Audi
Celebrate the power of music through documentaries that go back stage, on tour, behind the scenes--and any other place that rocks. This year's series included docs on Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone, the Latin Hip-Hop scene, Madonna, the Punk Rock movement, The Riot Girrls and the Talking Heads. AFI's Music Documentary Series is delighted to return for its fifth season in Spring 2006.
