Media Accreditation Requirements

AFI FEST encourages media to experience one of the greatest celebrations of international cinema in the world.

If you are a new applicant, you will need to fill out an Accreditation Form, to be e-mailed to festpress@AFI.com or faxed to 323.462.4049. Press Accreditation Forms, which must be submitted by October 15, are available for downloading here.

For returning journalists, please submit your coverage from AFI FEST 2002, as well as current contact information, to festpress@AFI.com or fax to 323.462.4049.

When you request accreditation, the Press Office registers your name, media affiliation and other pertinent information. We will then review your request.

Please submit the following with your request form:

• Recent coverage of a film festival or a film-related story, film review or arts/entertainment story written or produced by you.
• If you are a freelance journalist/writer, please accompany your form with a letter of commitment on company letterhead from the assigning editor/producer.
• Please indicate what your story will be covering: i.e., a particular film, AFI FEST 2003 overall, etc.

Note: Your submission will be reviewed and you will be notified, via e-mail, on the status of your request. If your application is approved, details will be sent to you stating how and where to pick up your pass. One applicant per request form, please.
