This documentary follows legendary Nazi hunter Wiesel from his boyhood home in Transylvania through the haunting rooms of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Buchenwald. We are introduced to the town of Sighet, which once cooperated with the deportation of Jews and now welcomes the celebrated Wiesel as a local hero. We are told by Wiesel of his love for his parents and younger sister, and of his last recollections of each of them.
