Who Are These People (And What Are They Doing Here?)

Your job title is Sponsorship Coordinator - but who are you really? I played 4 years on the Women's Basketball team at USC and played professional in Portugal.

Job titles aren't very descriptive, and the festival would obviously fall apart without you. What do you really do around here? I help to make sure that all deliverables/needs/wants are met for each of our Sponsors for the AFI FEST.

Why do you work for AFI Fest? My love of movies and entertainment has brought me to the AFI FEST.

What's your favorite thing about the fest? Not sure yet, this is my first one.

What's one movie you are really looking forward to? JUNO

After this is all over, what's the first thing you're going to do? Find a job.

Your job title is Artistic Director, Programming - but who are you really? I like to watch movies. I am married to a writer and we have a 6 year old. I have watched High School Musical a lot and our son has to watch Buster Keaton's The Navigator.

Job titles aren't very descriptive, and the festival would obviously fall apart without you. What do you really do around here? I help to determine the content of the Festival along with the rest of the programming team.

Why do you work for AFI FEST? I work for AFI FEST because I love to watch movies.

What's your favorite thing about the FEST? My favorite things about the Festival are that there are more trees around our office than anywhere else in LA, that my commute is only 15 minutes, my co-workers are nice, my boss has never once yelled at me - though he frowns occasionally, and that our Festival occurs before the big year-end holiday (so that we can enjoy the holiday rather than work through it like they probably do at that other big American festival).

What's one movie you're really looking forward to? I am looking forward to all the movies.

After this is all over, what's the first thing you're going to do? After this is all over, I will start working on next year's festival.
