Now in its 19th year, AFI FEST 2005 presented by Audi-the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival-is the longest-running film festival in Los Angeles and one of the most influential film festivals in North America.
A program of the American Film Institute, AFI FEST spans 10 days each November, featuring international competitions of brand new films from emerging filmmakers, global showcases of the latest work from the great film masters and nightly red-carpet gala premieres.
AFI FEST offers visiting filmmakers a crucial avenue of exposure to the film community, while providing appreciative audiences with the very best of world film, right in the film capital of the world.

AMERICAN FILM MARKET
Last fall, the American Film Market (AFM) moved to November, establishing a strategic alliance with AFI FEST 2004 presented by Audi. A cooperative structured meetings program, a combined registration program, networking events bringing together AFI FEST filmmakers and AFM exhibitors and an expanded transportation network create a formidable festival/market combination, considerably deepening the well of cultural and commercial possibilities at both events for all participants.

AFI FEST employs multiple screens at the state-of-the-art ArcLight Cinema complex on Sunset Boulevard and the adjoining famed Cinerama Dome for gala premieres. Easy parking, an on-site Box Office, a casual chic Cinema Lounge where Festival attendees meet and interact, frequent receptions and special events complete the centralized, AFI FEST village atmosphere.
