no child of mine This film is a shocking and compelling drama detailing the true story of a young girl's experiences of child abuse. Kerry, a seemingly happy school girl, endures an almost incomprehensible series of brutalities and betrayals. The film was shot in Hampshire, England following two years of research and made with the full cooperation of the real 'Kerry', although the names, dates, and places were changed to protect her identity. More than just a social drama, NO CHILD OF MINE packs a genuine, sometimes unbearable punch. Never entering the realm of melodrama, it is handled with sophistication and remarkable restraint. Young Brooke Kinsella gives a startlingly powerful and mature performance and is supported by an outstanding cast, which includes Colin Salmon (PRIME SUSPECT).
