The Assistant

Against the backdrop of the waning days of the great Depression, this emotionally charged drama paints a story of love and redemption about a young man who applies for a job with a family at their general store . Through his interaction with them, he learns the true value of family. With complex characters and rich cinematography, this is a truly exceptional film.
