Summary: Discouraged by the unhappy marriages in her family, Patricia Fentriss refuses Cary Scott's proposal and allows herself to be charmed by Leo Stenak, a musician, into joining a yachting party to the tropics. Patricia escapes by jumping overboard when Stenak tries to force his attentions upon her. Rescued, she is carried home and is reunited with Cary Scott.
