Summary: Traveling as a hobo in hopes of finding his long-lost brother, Donnegan is thrown off a freight train and is found injured by Colonel Macon and his daughter, Lou. Once recovered, Donnegan discovers that Lord Nick, Lou's unfaithful fiancĂ© and Macon's dishonest mining partner, is the man he has been seeking. Lord Nick gives up Lou to Donnegan and makes restitution to her father.
