Summary: Mary Hopkins leaves her husband, Jack, a lawyer, to study painting in Paris. Rhea, Jack's former sweetheart, persuades him to go to Paris for a divorce. In France, Jack decides he wants his wife back after she willingly consents to a divorce and discloses that she had an imaginary affair with a bogus count. Rhea is discredited, and Jack and Mary are reunited.
