Years later, Ramón and Dorando's daughter, Petra, fall in love, but confronted with Dorando's extreme displeasure, he leaves and becomes a famous matador. Ramón is gored when Concha, a vamp who was unable to win his love, persuades the marqués to order the matador to kill the bull before it is tired.
