The Enhanced TALK SOUP content is noted by a flashing TALK SOUP bowl that prompts the viewsers to go interactive. The "Help" button features basic how-to instruction by the comedic host, Hal Sparks. Other "Table Settings" can be customized such as: selecting Viewing Buddies who make periodic comments about the show, enabling random hecklers to appear on the screen, pausing or shrinking the broadcast video while viewing additional content including outtakes, specials, commercial parodies, movie parodies, past skits, shopping, chatting, etc. The various segments of the show are available in different viewing modes from full-screen to a secondary mode with interactive options.
