Enhanced KRON offers breaking news in a personalized format based on user programmed preferences. "My KRON" produces customized information to the viewser and offers options to view alternative news segments. Enhanced KRON was developed to be received by set-top boxes and viewed with a television set. A breaking news segment features a tire fire whereby residents can be directed to appropriate evacuation routes. Traffic cams are personalized to deliver traffic screens relative to the subscriber's area. The video window can be clicked on to return to full-screen TV. During the final segment the myKRON menu appears for the viewer to select his or her own ending from the show's top stories.
