The latest edition in this highly successful programming genre, ER2000 is a high-velocity, action packed, educational look into the latest and greatest roller coasters around the world. The show highlights their unique features, design, engineering, world records, and the enthusiasts who love them!

Working in partnership with Termite Art and Discovery, Ron Romberger and Kiku Lani Iwata have produced this enhanced prototype with the goal of allowing enthusiastic viewers to truly accomplish Discovery's "Explore Your World" motto by enriching and controlling their broadcast experience. This includes allowing viewers to jump out of the narrative broadcast and ride any coaster they choose, from any chosen POV, with the option of watching others ride, while chatting with their community of coaster lovers. Additionally, viewers can compete in coaster trivia contests to win season passes to their favorite parks, view behind the scenes interviews and historic newsreel footage, buy EXTREME RIDES 2000 merchandise, and even build their own 3D coaster, which they can test and post on the web for community feedback.
