Disbursement of Aid
If you have applied for aid in a timely manner, your financial aid should be ready for you when you register at the AFI Conservatory in August.

All funds, including federal and private loans, will be disbursed in two equal installments. You will receive one-half of your funds in the first term (August) and one-half of your funds in the second term (January). At present, funds are being issued as individual paper checks payable to you and, in some cases, co-payable to you and to AFI. All aid should be used to pay Conservatory tuition and fees before being used for living and/or personal expenses.

* Please Note: It is the policy of AFI Conservatory to release student loan checks to the borrower. If the borrower chooses to endorse the check to pay tuition and fees, the Conservatory will release any excess funds to the borrower within 10 business days of submitting the request to the AFI Finance Department.
