FESTIVAL PASSES

AFI Fest 2000 is pleased to offer a variety of passes for your convenience*.

Daytimer Pass $ 50
Admits one to all Festival screenings starting before 6pm

Fest Pass $150
Admits one to all Festival screenings (excluding Opening Night and Closing Night), filmmaker tribute, special presentations and Cinema Lounge

Screenwriter Pass $125
Admits one to all seminars & special events included in the Screenwriters Forum

Digital Pass $225
Admits one to all seminars and special events included in the Intel Digital Symposium

Panel Pass $300
Admits one to all seminars and special events included in both the Screenwriters Forum and the Intel Digital Symposium

Combo Pass $375
FEST Pass plus admission to both the Screenwriters Forum and the Intel Digital Symposium

Platinum Pass $600
FEST Pass plus admission to the Screenwriters Forum and the Intel Digital Symposium, two invitations to Opening Night & Closing Nights films and reception, access for two to the Cinema Lounge.

*AFI members, as well as members in good standing with American Cinematheque, DGA, IFP, PGA, SAG, WGA, and WIF are eligible to receive a 15% discount on passes. (Proof of organization membership and photo ID are required at time of pass pick-up.)

An allotment of seats is reserved at every screening for pass-holders. While a pass does not guarantee seating, pass-holders are allowed priority entry up until either the allotment has been reached or until 15 minutes before show time. After that, pass-holders must join the ticket purchase line and take their chances.

All passes are non-transferable and will be available for pick-up starting October 18 at the Ticket Center. Please bring photo ID and credit card. Hours of operation are from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.

ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASING

From October 6 through October 25, advance tickets can be ordered via phone at 323.520.2000. Hours of operation are from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. Advance tickets can also be ordered online at www.AFIFEST.com. Accepted credits cards are Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

For phone and online orders, please note the following:

Day-of-show tickets cannot be ordered via phone or online. Tickets must be ordered by 8 pm the day before the date of the screening.

There is a $2.50 service fee per order.

Ticket orders must be picked up at the venue of the first screening, at the theatre's Will-Call. Will-Call is open one hour prior to each screening. Photo ID and credit card are required for pickup. Ticket orders not picked up at the first screening will be sent to the Will-Call of the second screening.

Starting October 6, advance tickets may also be purchased in person, by coming to the AFI FEST Ticket Center, located in the courtyard of the Egyptian Theatre. Hours of operation are from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. Purchases may be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash or check.

To help speed up the purchasing process, please have your order prepared. All films have a five-letter order code. Please use this code when ordering.

DAY-OF-SHOW TICKET PURCHASING

Day-of-show tickets for all screenings may be purchased at the individual theatres-for that theatre's films only-starting one hour before each and every screening.

A limited number of day-of-show tickets may also be purchased in person at the Ticket Center, up until one hour before showtime. After that, please go to the theatre box office.

SELL-OUTS

When a screening is sold out in advance, there are usually a number of rush tickets available at the theatre. Some seats at every show are held for pass-holders, and quite often not all of these seats are used. Once we determine how many seats will be available, we can release those "Rush" seats for sale to people in the "Rush Line." This line forms anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours before showtime at the theatre box office.
