Ordering Tickets On-line
  • Individual tickets will go on sale on-line and at other Festival outlets starting Friday, October 6th.
  • If your order is successfully processed, your tickets will be waiting for you at the Will-Call counter at the theatre of your FIRST screening (which will be displayed for you as part of your order confirmation). We regret that we cannot mail tickets. Your confirmation that your order was processed by the system will be displayed in your browser window on the order confirmation page - you should make a note of the Confirmation Number. If there is any problem with your order you will be notified. If you have any concerns about an order, you should call the Festival office and ask to speak with the Box Office Manager.
  • You cannot Cancel an order through the system; our policy is and always has been: "no refunds or exchanges".
  • A VALID email address is required. If you do not supply one, your order may not be processed.
  • Your browser MUST support JavaScript 1.0 and your browser settings must allow cookies. If you have cookies turned OFF in the security settings of your browser, you will need to turn it on to order tickets on-line. Internet Explorer users must have Version 3.0 or later, and Netscape users must have Version 2.0 or later. For more information on Cookies, see the bottom of this page (or click the link above).
  • You may only have ONE active ticket order at one time. If you want to start over, you can click on any CLEAR PLANNER button located on the appropriate pages. Also, you must be using the same computer if you are resuming entry of an order after disconnecting because the cookie resides on the computer you start entering the order on.
  • All credit-card information is sent to us using a Secure Server - your credit-card and personal information is protected using strong encryption. Also, your personal information is used only for the purposes of ticketing and will never be divulged by us to anyone else.
  • You can select a maximum of four tickets per screening per order.
  • You can select a maximum of twenty screenings per order and may not have more than forty tickets in total per order.
  • No discount Tickets are available through the OnLine Ticketing System. They can only be purchased in person at the main Festival Box Office
  • The On-line ordering system will be unavailable every evening from 8:00pm to 9:00pm. You can still select shows during this time but you will be unable to update your order.

On-line Purchasing Overview

To purchase tickets on-line on this site, you can browse any of the Film Guide Indexes or any Film Note and click any of the "Add Film" buttons which will add the screening to your 'Ticket Planner'. This is just a list of screenings that you might want to see; you can select them or not when you finalize your order. The planner just helps narrow down the total number of shows for you. You can view what you've selected at any time by clicking on any View Ticket Planner button.

When you are done picking films, click on any Update Order button and you'll then be able to select the quantity of tickets you want for each show and, finally, submit your order. You can start from scratch at any time by clicking on any Clear Planner button.

Please note that until you click the Submit Order button on the Update Order page, your ticket order has not been completed. So, if you lose your Internet connection before you click Submit, you have not sent us your ticket order and nothing has been charged to your charge card. However, you should be able to just reconnect and pick up where you left off (this is part of what the Cookie allows us to do). PLEASE NOTE that you when you reach the Update Order page, you will have a maximum of thirty minutes to complete your order - that is, you have 30 minutes to enter the quantities for the screenings you want and click SUBMIT.

You should be aware that the cookie we send you will expire after 24 hours. If you wait longer than that to complete your order, you'll have to choose your ticket selections again.

From time to time, the Online system may be unavailable due to maintenance. You will be notified of this when you start your order, but please remember that if it becomes unavailable while you are picking your shows, you may be unable to submit the order and will have to wait for the system to become available again. Your selections will be preserved for one day however, and you can just pick up where you left off. If you want to clear your Ticket Planner and start over, click any of the CLEAR TICKET PLANNER buttons to do so; these look like this:

We hope you enjoy using our On-line ticketing facility and should you have any questions or comments, please drop us a note at admin@synercom-edi.com.

Enjoy the Festival!.

What the heck is a Cookie and why do we use them?

A 'cookie' is a small text file that many web-sites will 'send' to your browser for (usually) temporary storage on your computer. For us, it allows us to identify you and your ticket order between page views. This is needed because your browser does not maintain a constant 'connection' to a web site; it just requests a page every time you click a link.

If you are concerned about the use of cookies and how we use them on this site, please read our policy statement on cookies.
