ONCE UPON A TIME IN BOLIVIA [Erase una vez en Bolivia]
Q&A with filmmaker Patrick Cordova and producer Nahuel Attar on Sep 28

Half-brothers Rocky and Nene couldn't be more different. Rocky is a no-good schemer with zero respect for Bolivia, while the naïve and gentle-hearted Nene is a true patriot. But when the 2003 gas conflict begins to escalate, they must put their differences aside to race to the Chilean border before the civil unrest forces it to close. A truly independent feature, filmmaker Patrick Cordova shot on a micro budget in dangerous slums, breathtaking deserts and remote villages with a cast of non-professional actors. Best International Feature, London Independent Film Festival.
