AFI Commencement - Wednesday, June 12, 2013

The commencement ceremony is for AFI Fellows completing their degree or certificate requirements in June, September and December 2013.

AFI Conservatory commencement will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and all guests must be seated by 9:45 a.m.

Seating/Ticketing
AFI Fellows each receive 6 complimentary tickets. All guests must have a ticket for entry. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for general admission seating. All guests must be seated by 9:45 a.m. Saving seats is prohibited. Note that there will be a large reserved area for graduating Fellows, AFI Faculty and others participating in the ceremony.

Parking
Event parking is available at the Hollywood & Highland Parking Garage – $2 for up to four hours with theater validation. $1 for every 15 minutes thereafter, with a daily maximum of $13. The parking garage is accessible from Highland Avenue or Orange Drive, between Hollywood Boulevard and Franklin Avenue.

AFI is not responsible for parking violations on surface streets or in parking lots. Please read posted restrictions carefully.

Directions
From North on the Hollywood Freeway (101) Exit Highland Avenue/Hollywood Bowl. Proceed southbound down Highland Avenue and make a right into the Hollywood & Highland garage south of Franklin Avenue.

From South, East or West
Take Sunset Boulevard and go north on La Brea Avenue. Make a right on Hollywood Boulevard going eastbound and then a left on Orange Avenue. Turn right into the Hollywood & Highland parking garage.

Photography
A professional photographer will take photos of each graduating Fellow as s/he exits the stage. Photos can be ordered through Grad Images. A class photograph will also be taken prior to the ceremony and will be emailed to the graduates after the ceremony.

Special Needs
Guests who require wheelchair seating or special assistance should submit their request via e-mail to the address found on each invitation. Handicapped parking is available in the Hollywood & Highland parking structure.

Miscellaneous
El Capitan Theatre will resume regular screenings following the ceremony. Please exit the theatre after the recessional.
