AFI Commencement - Wednesday, June 10, 2009

The commencement ceremony is for Fellows completing their degree or certificate requirements in June, September and December 2009.

Where / When
Commencement will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 3:45 p.m. on the AFI campus at the Commencement Glade and will last approximately two hours. The ceremony will be followed immediately by a reception on the grounds.

Seating
Guests must be seated no later than 3:30 p.m. as the processional will begin promptly at
3:45 p.m. Seats are on a first available basis. Saving seats is prohibited. The area immediately in front of and behind the stage is off limits to the audience. Commencement programs will be available.

Parking
Parking is available off campus at two separate locations. Shuttle service will be provided to/from campus throughout the day. Please click on Maps/Directions for more details.

Photography
A professional photographer will take photos of each graduating Fellow as she/he exits the stage. Photos can be ordered through Grad Images. A class photograph will also be taken prior to the ceremony and will be emailed to the graduates after the ceremony.

Special Needs
Guests who require handicapped parking and/or seating should request special assistance on the RSVP line at 323.856.7691.

Miscellaneous
Though the Commencement Glade will be tented, the weather can be hot in the afternoon, so dress accordingly. Complimentary bottled water will be available on campus and vending machines are located on the ground floor of the Mayer Library Building.
